Passport and visa
EU/EEA citizens do not need a visa for stays under 90 days. Your passport must be valid at least 6 months after your return.
Currency and payment
The Convertible Mark (BAM) is pegged to the euro. Cards work in the cities — bring cash in the mountains. 1 BAM ≈ €0.51.
Health
No special vaccinations are required. Bring your EHIC card and private travel insurance.

Transport
On our group trips all transport is included. On your own, a rental car is the most flexible option — the roads are good and traffic is calm.
Safety
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a safe country to visit. Always keep to marked trails in the mountains and follow your guide's instructions.
